According to Catherine, all their belongings including expensive camera equipment were locked in the boot of their rental vehicle as they stopped at the mall between 11:00 and 12:00 on Friday to replace a lost cellular phone.
Upon their return, Catherine wanted to retrieve something from the boot, only to realize that all their belongings, including passports were removed.
There was no sign of forced entry. “We literally had the clothes on our backs,” she says. The couple is desperate to retrieve their camera equipment, especially the memory cards containing the photographs of their holiday. They are offering a large reward for retrieving their property.
The stolen camera equipment includes eight 64G memory cards, a Canon 5D and Canon 6D camera, a Canon 400mm fixed lens, a Canon 200m lens and a specialised Canon tilt shift lens.
