The victim was at home in a residential area in Carletonville when the suspects entered the house and tied him up in the kitchen after a struggle.
They took items such as cash and household goods that they were able to carry. They then fled the scene. The victim’s wife allegedly arrived home just as the suspects were leaving and found her husband bound in the kitchen. After releasing him, she reported the matter to the local SAPS.
The Carletonville detectives would appreciate any information that might assist in tracing and apprehending the five suspects. The SAPS calls on members of the community to assist them with information.
