'n Boer van Wakkerstoom in die Volksrust omgewing, mnr. Leon Jacobs is ook aangeval. Dit het gebeur in dieselfde tyd wat Lourens van der Schyf van die plaas Spitskop net buite Volkrust met 'n knopkierie aangeval is. Leon is oor sy arm gesny met ‘n mes en ‘n aar is raak gesny.
Toe die Leon omgedraai het om hulp te ontbied het die aanvaller hom van agter ook met die mes aangeval.
Dit alles het gebeur na ‘n woordewisseling en gestoeiery.
‘n Werker wat mnr. Jacobs probeer help is ook beseer.
Mnr. Jacobs is na Newcastle vervoer met die ambulans vir behandeling en sterk tans in die Intensiewe Sorgeenheid aan.

A family was attacked by four men on Friday night on their farm in Bothaville.
The family was tied up by four attackers dressed in police uniforms.
Luckily they were all unharmed but a gun, cellphones and money was stolen during the farm attack.
