Police are searching for the family of a woman found dead in Richards Bay on Sunday morning.
Circumstances surrounding her death remains subject for investigation.
The lifeless body of a young woman was discovered on the corner of Mark Strasse and Bullion Boulevard,Zululand Observer reported.
Richards Bay police spokesperson Captain Debbie Ferreira said the deceased is believed to be in her early twenties and was wearing a black and white dress and brown sandals.
Police are looking for the victim’s family or anyone who has information surrounding her death to contact Detective Sgt G Muruvan on 035 9012412 or Captain Debbie Ferreira on 035 9012494.
In a separate incident, a woman naked body was found floating in the Boksburg, Gauteng in January.
The woman, believed to be in her 50s, was discovered floating close to the lake’s shore on Sunday night.
It was unclear how long the woman’s body had been in the water and how it ended up in the lake.
According to Boksburg police spokesperson Lieutenant Kwendzakwakhe Ngobese, preliminary findings indicated the woman drowned, but further investigations are ongoing
