#ATTACK: Shalimar Ridge resident was ambushed by 3 blacks at home in his driveway

A resident of Shalimar Ridge was ambushed by three armed black attackers as he reversed out the driveway in Roshini Street at 06:45 this morning.

House robbers strike Shalimar Ridge home

According to Captain Thivhulawi Tshilate (spokesperson) of Heidelberg Police Station, the robbers forced the owner inside the house where they also held up his wife. They demanded the whereabouts of the safe, but the woman told them they did not have a safe.

The two victims talked as loudly as possible throughout the incident to attract the attention of neighbours. When neighbours started to pour out of their houses, the robbers grabbed a computer box and cell phone and fled in a maroon Mercedes Benz.
