We must guard our heart above all things, and above all against hate and unbelief, because faith and love join us to JESUS CHRIST

He that saith he abideth in Him ought himself also so to walk, even as He walked.  He that saith he is in the light, and ☛☛hateth his brother☚☚, is in darkness even until now.  He that loveth his brother abideth in the light, and there is none occasion of stumbling in him.  But he that hateth his brother is in darkness, and walketh in darkness, and knoweth not whither he goeth, ☛☛because that darkness hath blinded his eyes☚☚
1 John 2:6‭, ‬9‭-‬11

💛 》》 #hateth: Greek translation is: miseō (G3404): meaning: hatred; to detest (especially to persecute); by extension to love less: - hate (-ful).

☛Hateth [ÎŧΚĪƒĪ‰ÎŊ/miseō] . The sharp issue is maintained here as in Christ 's words, "He that is not with Me is against Me" (Luk 11:23).
Men fall into two classes:
▪those who are in fellowship with God, and therefore walk in light and love,
▪and those who are not in fellowship with God, and therefore walk in darkness and hatred.
Where love is not, there is hatred...
See Joh 3:20; Joh 7:7; Joh 14:18; Joh 17:14. Joh 12:25; Joh 14:18, 19.; Luk 14:26; 1Jo 3:14, 15; 1Jo 4:20, Mt 5:43; Mt 6:24; Eph 5:28, 29
The only way to walk in the light
(1John 1:7) is to have fellowship with God who is light (1John 1:3; 1John 1:5). So the claim to be in the light is nullified by hating a brother.

💛 》》 #brother: Greek translation is: adelphos (G80): meaning: any fellow or man

💛 》》 #darkness: Greek translation is:
skotia (G4653): meaning: of darkened eyesight or blindness; metaphorically used of ignorance of divine things, and its associated wickedness, and the resultant misery in hell...

💛 》》 #light: Greek translation is: phōs (G5457): meaning:
metaphorically:
▪God is light because light has the extremely delicate, subtle, pure, brilliant quality
▪of truth and its knowledge, together with the spiritual purity associated with it
▪that which is exposed to the view of all, openly, publicly
▪reason, mind: the power of understanding especially moral and spiritual truth

●》》 Psa 82:5 They know not, neither will they understand; they walk on in darkness: all the foundations of the earth are out of course.

●》》 1Co 13:1-3 Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity (#BrotherlyLove), I am become assounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal. 2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity (#BrotherlyLove), I am nothing. 3 And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity (#BrotherlyLove), it profiteth me nothing.

●》》  2Pe 1:9 But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins.

☛ ☆The example of Jesus Christ Isa 53:7 He was oppressed and He was afflicted, Yet He did not open His mouth [to complain or defend Himself]; Like a lamb that is led to the slaughter, And like a sheep that is silent before her shearers, So He did not open His mouth. See also Mt 27:27-31 pp Mk 15:16-20; Ac 8:32-35  He that saith he abideth in Him ought himself also so to walk, even as He walked. 1 John 2:6 KJV

☛ Christ never defended violence. He suffered to end it...   Luke 3:14 And the soldiers likewise demanded of him (John the Baptist), saying, And what shall we do? And he said unto them:
 "☛Do violence to no man...☚"
