#ATTACK: Black attacker was shot in the leg after he tried to break into a woman’s home

A Proclamation Hill resident shot and wounded a man who was attempting to break into her home on Monday.

According to Bestcare spokesperson Xander Loubser, the incident took place around 12:00.

“A man entered the premises and apparently attempted to break in but was shot by the occupant of the house,” said Loubser.

“The man had arterial bleeding and was taken toKalafong hospital,” he said.

Loubser said the patient was shot in the leg.
It is unclear if the man was armed or not.
