Western Cape: This morning at about 07:55 members from SAPS Provincial Organised Crime Unit arrested two police members, aged 42 and 43 stationed at Nyanga SAPS. One member was on duty and the other was arrested at his residence following investigation into a house robbery case that occurred in November last year at a house in Retreat, Cape Town.
Both suspects are expected to appear in Wynberg Magistrate’s court on Wednesday 06 April 2016 facing charges of house robbery.
The arrest indicates that SAPS management is unequivocal in its quest to rid itself of bad elements within its ranks.
