Vrou byna gekaap in Centurion.
A woman believed to be in her 60’s was treated and rushed to hospital after an alleged attempted hijacking in Clubview, Centurion.
ER24 paramedics and other services arrived on scene and found CPF members as well as a security company on scene. Members of the security company and medical response unit were attending to the woman who sustained an injury to her leg.
It is understood that the woman stopped her vehicle at a friend’s house when she was approached by suspects.
She apparently put her vehicle in reverse in an attempt to escape. The suspects apparently smashed her vehicle window.
They fled with some of her belongings but not the vehicle.
Upon assessment of the patient it was found that she sustained moderate injuries.
She was treated and transported to hospital for further medical care.
The exact circumstances surrounding the incident is unknown.
Authorities were on scene for further investigations.
