A client of Community Monitoring Services (CMS) arrived at a premises in Main Reef Road, Dunswart, Boksburg to do some after hours work. He opened the gate pulled his vehicle in and closed the gate.
Six men then the came out from between his trucks and one pointed him with a hand gun.
They took him upstairs to the offices where he was tied up with computer cables.
While some of the suspects were ransacking the offices the other suspects tortured him by poking him with a knife, attempting to cut off two of his fingers and kicking him in the face and body.
The suspects forced open internal office doors and security gates, they moved a big safe out of the one office and cut it open with a grinder. They stole cash boxes with an unknown amount of cash as well as the victims cell phone and jewelry.
The suspects held him up for four hours before they fled.
On further investigation it was found that access was gained by cutting the razor wire at far right top corner on top of the precast wall.
The suspects then cut a hole in a steel gate. From there they climbed over another fence and palisades to gain access into the warehouse.
Inside the warehouse there was an internal palisade fence where 2 palisade pillars were forced open.
As per the client while they were inside the offices he heard about three different voices on the outside of the offices.
CMS and SAPS were on scene.
