A man was shot in the head by armed suspects during a robbery on Planters Avenue in Fairbreeze, Tongaat, recently. Reaction Unit South Africa received a call from a resident, who reported the incident. RUSA's officers and medics were dispatched to the scene, however, upon arrival were informed that the victim was transported privately to hospital. It is alleged that while walking home from work, three suspects approached the victim and attempted to rob him. The suspects then shot him in the head before fleeing the scene on foot
