A man disappears after making a cash withdrawal
A man has gone missing after making a large withdrawal from an ATM in the east of Pretoria.
Leon Serfontein (30) was last seen around 09:00 at the Moreleta Spar shopping complex on Rubenstein Drive where he made a withdrawal at the FNB ATM on Tuesday morning.
His partner, who asked not to be named, said Serfontein’s bank statement proved he did make the withdrawal.
“His phone was off on Tuesday,” he said.
Serfontein was wearing a grey t-shirt, plum shorts, white and neon orange takkies and he has blue eyes, short cut brown hair, and is about 187 cm tall.
The 30-year old has no visible tattoos.
His partner said security guards at the shopping centre confirmed seeing him.
He said he reported Serfontein missing on Tuesday afternoon, and police were investigating.
He urged anyone with information on the mateter to call the Garsfontein police station or to call him directly on 082-267-3013.
