Farmers from the Zeerust area worked together with great success in rainy conditions to try and catch the attackers who were responsible for a farm attack in the area.
One of the attackers who attacked Thys van der Bank on his farm was located and arrested by the farmers.
Thys was moved to a hospital in Rustenburg for further treatment.

■ A man was attacked on Thursday morning around 7 AM on his farm at the Enselsberg road near Zeerust.
Thys van der Bank was attacked with an axe on his farm and was hit on the arm. He apparently had other injuries as well.
His wife Tinky was luckily unharmed during the farm attack but was treated for shock.
There was between 5 and 7 attackers on the farm and they stole a white XTrail (No registration number available).
