In two separate incidents today, two cyclists were robbed at the back of Durbanville, down Wellington rd towards Phisantekraal. The first victim who was on an early morning ride had a stick stuck through his spokes and was badly beaten with a stick and brick, he is currently in intensive care with broken ribs, collar bone and possible brain damage. He was robbed of his bike and belongings.
The second victim was attacked just before 1pm today, he "just" had stones thrown at him and managed to escape.
