#ATTACK: Black terrorist still on the loose after brutal attack on elderly Bfn woman in her house at the Westerbloem Retirement Village

An 86-year-old woman, who lives by herself, was attacked with a blunt object and rushed to Mediclinic Bloemfontein

Bloemfontein - Police believe the black attacker involved in this morning’s attack on an elderly woman in her house at the Westerbloem Retirement Village gained access by digging a hole underneath the surrounding concrete slab fence.

Police spokesperson, Chaka Marope, says it is still not clear exactly when she was attacked.

According to him, the victim’s daughter found her bleeding mother unconscious on the floor in her living room. This, after a concerned neighbour noticed the broken back door at around 07:00 this morning. Marope says it is unclear how many suspects were involved and what items are missing from the ransacked house.

According to him, the victim’s safe was open on the police’s arrival.

Police were still searching the area when OFM News visited the scene this morning.

Hospital spokesperson, Amanda Appelgryn, wouldn't comment on the woman’s condition, on request of the family.
