LIMPOPO – The case against the three suspects accused of the murder of the farm manager of Silver Mist outside Haenertsburg, Ms Rina Langenhoven, has been postponed to next year.

The three suspects, Frans Seswa Mohlatlego (32), Lawrence Frans Hlongwane (45) and 35-year-old Frans Ngobeni (previous employee on the farm), were arrested at Mshongoville village at Mentz Mankweng on Tuesday, 8 December after detectives tracked down the stolen vehicle taken during the incident said provincial police spokesperson, Col Ronel Otto in an earlier report.

As earlier reported Rina Langenhoven’s body was discovered under a mattress in one of the rooms by the domestic worker when she reported for duty on the morning of 7 December.

“Her hands were tied behind her back and her mouth bound, both with packaging tape.”

The suspects will remain in custody and have been transferred to a high security facility at Polokwane prison. The bail application was heard in the Polokwane Magistrates Court on Tuesday (today) and not the Haenertsburg Periodical Court as the magistrate was absent.

The formal bail application will be on 17 January. http://capricornreview.co.za/76823/haenertsburg-murder-case-moved-to-polokwane/
