Samuel Motsi and Malumo Ngcamphalala, who are linked to the death of Potchefstroom cattle farmer Koos van der Leeuw, will find out on Thursday if they have been awarded bail or not. The other two accused, Aida Lebaka and Tefo Mohua, have chosen not to apply for bail.
The 68-year-old Van der Leeuw was shot in the head in August this year during a robbery at the Potchefstroom abattoir. He later died in hospital. The suspects made off with R77 500 and a cell phone.
The State presented its final arguments on Wednesday.

Landdros Estie Jansen het vanoggend borgtog aan Samuel Motsi en Malumo Ngcamphalala toegestaan. Hul medebeskuldigdes, Aida Lebaka and Tefo Mohua, het verkies om nie aansoek om borgtog te doen nie en bly in aanhouding. Al vier die verdagtes sal weer op 9 Desember in die hof verskyn.
Die 68-jarige Koos van der Leeuw is tydens ’n rooftog by die Potchefstroom-abbatoir in die kop geskiet en is later in die hospitaal oorlede. Die verdagtes het weggekom met R77 500 en ’n selfoon.
