18 September 2015: Rustenburg – A family of four were attacked on a smallholding at Zuurplaat near Renosterfontein by armed black attackers while they were watching television on Wednesday, 16 September 2015, at about 21:00.
The parents and their children, aged 11 years and eight months respectively, were overpowered by an armed black man. He pointed the firearm at them and ordered them to keep quiet.
Another three men then entered the house and tied the parents up.
