Survives gunshot to the head: Bill Brogan, 68, south Johannesburg, 6 July 2016: needs multiple brain surgeries:

Unfortunately, Bill has fallen victim to an absolutely shocking crime.
As Bill left his south Johannesburg home for work at 6:30 am on 6 July 2016, he was surprised by intruders and shot in the head. Despite this catastrophic injury Bill remained conscious and responsive, a testament to his tremendous will to live and inner strength. Needless to say he suffered life threatening injuries and will consequently need multiple brain surgeries.
(*We posted this from Boere Krisis Aksie but have not obtained police comment on the circumstances surrounding the shooting, neither whether the gunman was arrested. We are awaiting more information)
