KwaZulu-Natal, Mooi River: Farm attack: Last night at 23.30, two suspects entered a farmhouse in the Mooi River area. An elderly couple, both aged 72, heard the suspects enter their home. The homeowner fired two shots. The suspects assaulted the complainants with golfsticks and demanded cash. They also stole the owner's pistol. The suspects fled the scene. They were subsequently arrested. One suspect, aged 28 yrs, was arrested. The suspect was wounded and is under police guard in hospital. The second suspect, aged 40, is detained. Circumstances relating to the suspect's shooting are being investigated. The wounded suspect alleges that the second suspect shot him accidentally. Police investigations continue. #RuralSafety
