Man found shot on his farm
Police spokesperson Captain Sarah Mcira said the deceased was found with a gunshot wound to his head.“A friend of the deceased tried to phone him, but he didn’t answer. The friend went to the deceased’s farm on Wednesday morning and found his body in the bedroom.”
Police were immediately notified.
Mcira could not confirm whether the man was murdered or not or when he was shot.
“At this stage, we are still investigating the matter. We can not confirm the motive.”
According to the friend, the deceased lived alone.
The man is identified as Brandt Steyn.
