Patients at Mount Edcombe Life hospital were waiting for 5 hours in their so called emergency trauma unit and were not attended to....One patient had serious head injuries and her head was swollen and was waiting from 8.30 pm to be seen by a Doctor. ..by 1am there was no sight of a Doctor and this is the response I got to my plea from the Matron in charge to contact someone senior from the hospital management to get another Doctor to assist as the out patients was full with patients waiting to be assisted. The person I went to help who was waiting for 2 hours we suspected had a appendix that was about to rupture and this is a life threatening situation. ...How can a emergency trauma unit at a private hospital that is so expensive to visit be so callous and negligent? Good advice friends AVOID LIFE HOSPITALS IN GENERAL. ...THIS ADVICE COULD SAVE YOUR LIFE ....SEE FOR YOURSELF
