ANOTHER #MURDER? Murdered body found stabbed to death in abandoned building

The body of a man, believed to be in his mid-30s, was found inside a vacant building in Benoni South, on February 23. The man was stabbed several times in his upper body

The corpse was found at a building on Liverpool Road, at 13.40pm.

According to Benoni SAPS spokesperson Lieut Nomsa Sekele, police received a tip-off about the victim’s location.

“On arrival, police found the body inside the building,” said Sekele.

“Paramedics were called and the man was certified dead.”

Sekele added that the man was stabbed several times in his upper body.

No arrests have been made and police are investigating.

A case of murder was opened at the Benoni Police Station.
