WANTED! Local police have released a photo of a suspect wanted for questioning in connection with last night's murder of farmer Schalk Featherstone in the Aberdeen district.
Winston Booysen, also known as Sallie, aged 24, is wanted in connection with the murder of his ex-girlfriend in Lotusville, Aberdeen, on Saturday, November 28th, he is also now wanted for questioning in connection with the murder of Featherstone last night. Booysen was seen on a neighbouring farm on Wednesday afternoon. The public is warned not to approach him, as he may be dangerous and possibly armed. If anyone happens to spot him, or knows of his whereabouts they are requested to contact W/O Willie van Zyl at 082 442 3328 or the Aberdeen detective office at 049 846 0544.

Elderly farmer murdered in Aberdeen district
An elderly farmer was murdered on his farm Glenloch, near Miller Station, in the Aberdeen district last night. Schalk Featherstone, who was in his 70s, was, according to police spokesperson, W/O Gerrie van Rooyen, shot six times. Helicopters are being used to try and track down the suspect who fled the scene shortly after the murder.
