A security officer was shot in front of a coffee shop in the process. Police and paramedics are on the scene and a police helicopter has been dispatched.
PIETERSBURG – Two of the black armed attackers have been apprehended and are currently being questioned by the police says Captain Phala.
A security officer was shot and died at the scene when a jewellery store was robbed in Savannah mall at around 13:00 on Wednesday.
The police have launched a aerial manhunt for the remaining suspects who fled in two vehicles, a black BMW and a white Toyota Hilux.
The Community Policing Forum (CPF) asks people to be on the look out for a White Toyota Hilux reg CDY846L.
