An armed attempt at hijacking in Verbena street in Atlasville on the 10 November saw the victim of the attempt shamelessly assaulted by the suspects with a hammer. The Suspects were armed with the hammer and a firearm that were seen, though a third suspect waited in the car for the two perpetrators. They managed to steal only cellphones and a handbag before fleeing in a pale coloured SUV. The attempt occurred just as the victim returned home from work, and is a common tactic in hijackings and robberies. CMS on scene.
