God calls individuals to positions of leadership, both spiritual and political...

Godless leadership is evil.
But to reject God’s leadership is to
☛reject God☚ !!!!

God calls individuals to positions of leadership, both spiritual and political. Such leadership is seen as carrying responsibilities towards both God and his people and is to be exercised with humility.

Love for #foreigners commanded:

Rom 13: 7 Render therefore to all their dues: tribute to whom tribute is due; custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honour to whom honour.
8  Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law.
For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
10  Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore ☛love is the fulfilling of the law☚

💛 》》Render: Greek translation is: apodidōmi: meaning:  to give what is due or obligatory, to pay: wages or reward: taxes; a debt; pay (-ment be made)

💛 》》tribute: Greek translation is: phoros: meaning: tribute, especially the annual tax levied upon houses, lands, and persons

💛》》custom: Greek translation is: telos: meaning: toll, custom (i.e. indirect tax on goods)

💛 》》fulfilled: Greek translation is: plēroō: meaning: to render full, i.e. to complete; to fulfil, i.e. to cause God's will (as made known in the law) to be obeyed as it should be, and God's promises (given through the prophets) to receive fulfilment

💛 》》neighbour: Greek translation is: plēsion: meaning: according to Christ, any other man irrespective of nation or religion with whom we live or whom we chance to meet

Matthew Chapter 22

17 Tell us therefore, What thinkest thou? Is it lawful to give tribute unto Caesar, or not?
18 But Jesus perceived their wickedness, and said, Why tempt ye me, [ye] hypocrites?
19 Shew me the tribute money. And they brought unto him a penny.
20 And he saith unto them, Whose [is] this image and superscription?
21 They say unto him, Caesar's. Then saith he unto them, Render therefore unto Caesar the things which are Caesar's; and unto God the things that are God's.
22 When they had heard [these words], they marvelled, and left him, and went their way.

(Romans13:1-7) Paul writes: “Every person is to be in subjection to the governing authorities.

Paul say that all governments (past, present, and future) that exist are ordained by God, whether good or bad.

Of course, there are at least three areas in which a Christian should resist authority:
▪(1) If he or she is asked to violate a command of God.
▪(2) If he or she is asked to commit an immoral or unethical act.
▪(3) If he or she is asked to go against his/her conscience.

The Scriptures teach an interesting paradox: on one hand, Satan is actively involved in the political process (Luke 4:6-7). The book of Daniel teaches that there are wicked spirits who are assigned to various leaders. Yet at the same time, the Bible clearly teaches that God rules in the affairs of men. In Psalm 75:6-7 Asaph says: “For not from the east, nor from the west, nor from the desert comes exaltation; but God is the Judge; He puts down one and exalts another.” Proverbs 21:1 says: “The king’s heart is like channels of water in the hand of the LORD; He turns it wherever He wishes.” In other words, God is sovereign over whoever is in authority. Remember, Nero was in power when Paul wrote Rom 13. Nero hated Christians, had them rounded up, dipped in tar, and lit as torches for his parties. He covered Christians in animal skins and threw them to wild dogs. He ordered Rome set on fire and then blamed the Christians, setting off the first wave of official persecution. We’ve largely forgotten how wicked pagan ancient Rome really was. Sorcery and black magic abounded, abortion flourished, homosexuality was accepted as normal, and the masses worshipped Caesar as Lord... so I'm saying again, there are at least three areas in which a Christian should resist authority: (1) If he or she is asked to violate a command of God. (2) If he or she is asked to commit an immoral or unethical act. (3) If he or she is asked to go against his/her conscience.

Acts 5:29

“Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men.”

Mt 22:21 Render therefore unto Caesar. The use of Caesar's coin as the current money was an acknowledgment of Caesar. Let them return his coin when demanded. Unto God the things that are God's. Obedience in moral and spiritual things. Faith, love, obedience and liberal giving for God's work. We are to obey the human government over us, and to obey God. When the human government(s) requires us to disobey God, we are to obey God rather than man, whatever may be the peril. See Ac 5:29.

Perilous Times and Perilous Men:

2 Timothy 3Amplified Bible (AMP)

“Difficult Times Will Come”

But understand this, that in the last days dangerous times [of great stress and trouble] will come [difficult days that will be hard to bear]. For people will be lovers of self [narcissistic, self-focused], lovers of money [impelled by greed], boastful, arrogant, revilers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy and profane, [and they will be] unloving [devoid of natural human affection, calloused and inhumane], irreconcilable, malicious gossips, devoid of self-control [intemperate, immoral], brutal, haters of good, traitors, reckless, conceited, lovers of [sensual] pleasure rather than lovers of God, holding to a form of [outward] godliness (religion), although they have denied its power [for their conduct nullifies their claim of faith]. Avoid such people and keep far away from them. For among them are those who worm their way into homes and captivate morally weak andspiritually-dwarfed women weighed down by [the burden of their] sins, easily swayed by various impulses, always learning and listening to anybody who will teach them, but never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. Just as Jannes and Jambres [the court magicians of Egypt] opposed Moses, so these men also oppose the truth, men of depraved mind, unqualified and worthless [as teachers] in regard to the faith. But they will not get very far, for their meaningless nonsense andignorance will become obvious to everyone, as was that of Jannes and Jambres.

10 Now you have diligently followed [my example, that is] my teaching, conduct, purpose, faith, patience, love, steadfastness, 11 persecutions, and sufferings—such as happened to me at Antioch, at Iconium, and at Lystra; what persecutions I endured, but the Lord rescued me from them all!12 Indeed, all who delight in pursuing righteousness and are determined to live godly lives in Christ Jesus will be hunted and persecuted [because of their faith]. 13 But evil men and impostors will go on from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived. 14 But as for you, continue in the things that you have learned and of which you are convinced [holding tightly to the truths], knowing from whom you learned them15 and how from childhood you have known the sacred writings (Hebrew Scriptures) which are able to give you the wisdom that leads to salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus [surrendering your entire self to Him and having absolute confidence in His wisdom, power and goodness]. 16 All Scripture is God-breathed [given by divine inspiration] and is profitable for instruction, for conviction [of sin], for correction [of error and restoration to obedience], for training in righteousness [learning to live in conformity to God’s will, both publicly and privately—behaving honorably with personal integrity and moral courage]; 17 so that the [a]man of God may be complete andproficient, outfitted and thoroughly equipped for every good work.

  1. 2 Timothy 3:17 I.e. all believers whether man, woman, or child.
