Police have no idea where Violet Salome Vosloo (45) and her children, Lee-Ann (19), Marius (23) and Lanie (16) are, says Constable Maria Mazibuko, spokesperson for the town’s police station.

Their cellphones are all off and they’ve made no contact with Violet Salome’s husband. The man did not want to speak to YOU, adding that although he needed the media’s help to track down his family he would appreciate his privacy being respected.
When he arrived at the family home in Highbury in Meyerton on Sunday 17 April, his wife and the children were gone. The doors were open and no clothing is missing, Constable Mazibuko says.
She didn’t want to elaborate on the circumstances of the Vosloos’ disappearance, saying it formed part of the police probe.
“At this stage we are circulating the information in the hope that someone sees them somewhere,” the policewoman says.
