A 40-year-old man has died after being shot on Queen Nandi Drive, earlier this morning. Paramedics found the man on the side of the road with life-threatening wounds at the scene.
Unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries and died. Police spokesman, Major Thulani Zwane said, “The man was shot and killed by unknown suspects who were in a VW Polo. The motive is not known at this stage.”
Greenwood Park SAPS spokesman, W/O Leon Audh said that the getaway vehicle used by the suspects was dented in the front and it had a NU registration plate.
A case murder has been opened at Greenwood Park SAPS for investigation and no arrests have been made at this stage.
