During the early hours of this morning a guard on a site in Elandsdrift reported that he heard gunshots in the area but was not sure where they came from.
The Iron Fist Squad as well as Tactical Units was dispatched and after investigation established that there had been an armed house robbery at a small holding close to the site.
We do not have a lot of information except that three armed suspects gained entry into the house and fired shots. According to reports the residents were not injured. Please be vigilant – it seems the three do not hesitate to shoot!!
