According to reports, a farm attack allegedly occurred approximately eight kilometres from Newcastle.
Three armed black attackers apparently assaulted an elderly couple. An unofficial source claimed a dog was shot in the scuffle.
Reports further suggest the suspects fled the scene with only a cell phone.
The K9 Unit is reportedly ‘walking spoor’ in an effort to nab the suspects.
